An internationally recognized Professor and award-winning researcher in the field of applying additive technologies, artificial intelligence, and robotics in medicine. With extensive experience as a visiting professor and researcher at institutions across Europe, he has a proven track record of leading and collaborating in various European international research projects, including EU Horizon 2020 and Erasmus+ initiatives. His academic leadership includes roles as a professor at the United Nations-founded University for Peace and Development, and FH Joanneum, Graz, Austria. Head of the Centre for Biomodeling and Innovations in Medicine, and Head of the Laboratory for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, where he has established new courses and fostered significant advancements in the field. A sought-after international speaker, including a TEDx talk, and author and co-author of scientific papers and books, he has received numerous prestigious awards for his scientific contributions and innovations, such as the European Innovative Teaching Award from European Commision, State Prize for Science from the Republic of Croatia and multiple gold medals at international innovation exhibitions.
