Dr. Bahaaeddin Alareeni is an Assistant Professor of Accounting and Auditing with extensive academic, research, and professional credentials. His research interests cover a broad spectrum of accounting and auditing disciplines, including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), internal auditing, financial statement analysis, financial accounting, and assurance services. His work is widely published in reputable, peer-reviewed journals indexed in ISI (Web of Science), Scopus, ABDC, and ABS, reflecting both the depth and impact of his scholarship.
With more than a decade of professional experience, Dr. Alareeni has served in key accounting roles across various sectors, including banking, governmental agencies, NGOs, and the private sector. This practical background enhances his teaching and research by bringing real-world insights into the classroom and academic discourse.
He also possesses over twelve years of university-level teaching experience, delivering a comprehensive range of undergraduate, MSc, and MBA courses. His curriculum development contributions include core courses such as Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Principles of Finance, Intermediate Accounting, and Research Methods for Business Students.
